If you find yourself jumping, you overshot your motion and hit HK too slowly, you can still input D, DF, F, UF, HK and get Bypass (Or other specials) provided you input the attack button before you leave the ground (It takes a fraction of a second for the character to jump after you hit any Upwards direction)ĭ, DF, HK, F and Bypass doesn't come out, you input HK too fast.ĭ, DF, HK, F and Bypass DOES come out, you actually input crouching HK, and cancelled it into Bypass when you released HK, as the game will register attack buttons being released for special moves. You might have also input the D, DF, F too slowly. Say you're trying to do QCF+HK with Valentine (Savage Bypass).ĭ, DF, F, HK and Bypass comes out, you did it correctly!ĭ, DF, F, HK and Bypass doesn't come out, you likely inputs HK too slowly. Savage Bypass = Valentine's Dashing Slash Attack. When doing a special move, look at the inputs. You can turn on Unlimited Meter in Training Mode.ģ. Make sure you have the meter for any Blockbusters you're trying to practice. Make sure you're actually doing a valid special move.Ģ. Now that you can see your past inputs, you can break down what you're doing wrong.ġ. I considered Changeling or Kalashtar but Sekhmet seems to have the most control over Eliza, and she only changes her clothes with her blood magic (victory pose), not her appearance.Go into Training Mode and turn on Display Inputs - List. Zealot keeps some of that Egyptian god feel with godly reincarnation (Eliza keeps eternal youth and beauty by taking others' blood), godly strength, and flinch resistance with saving throw rerolls. Totem Warrior is very versatile but not very in-flavor. Psionic Soul is mainly for the bodymorphing from their level 14 feature Mind Over Body, which Eliza does a lot of in her animations.Īs for the Barbarian levels I'm torn between Beast (UA), Beserker, Totem Warrior, or Zealot.īeast recreates the "wild" nature of Sekhmet but gets a lot of the value you'd get from Psionic Soul.īeserker is another obvious "wild" Barbarian but Exhaustion sucks. (No spells while raging.)Īll that being said my thought process is Barbarian 6 / Abberant Mind Psionic Soul Sorcerer 14. This means that (unless some Hexblade multiclassing shenanigans) she'd need strength.įor Sekhmet I honestly considered taking some levels in Barbarian in order to recreate the wild and savage nature of Sekhmet's combat, as they're flinch proof (Rage damage absorption) but have a very limited ability kit. Her weapon obviously has reach as anyone who's played Skullgirls can attest to. But there are other options to recreate Sekhmet. That being said one in particular that I want is Tenser’s Transformation, which is Wizard exclusive. The vast majority of Eliza's spells would probably be Sorcerer based? Eliza would have to be an innate spellcaster so that means either Sorcerer or possibly Bard. Along with the obvious blood-based abilities her main powers include striking people with her microphone-scythe-thing and summoning Albus and Horus, her two assistants. BENEATH THE SKIN Signature Ability 1 Gain ARMOR for 5/10/15 seconds when triggering Sekhmet.

For those of you who don't know about Skullgirls Eliza is essentially a blood mage (it's much more detailed than that in the game's lore, but for the sake of this let's say she's a blood mage) with a parasite inside her known as Sekhmet who operates her body as a meat puppet. Decent for Eliza, Good for Umbrella An okay duo thats able to abuse Elizas strong lockdown assists in Butchers Blade or her mixup with axe assist. In Denile is a Water, Bronze Eliza variant.
